1729. The head of a boarding axe, used by pirates to cut the ropes of boarding hooks, bring down masts and rigging, and generally tear through anything that stood in the way of the loot, like doors, hatches or locks. They were also employed by the U.S. Navy, the teeth behind the cutting edge were used to drag away burning rigging and sails from the decks.

1730. Don't know exactly what this device is for, guesses for it include:
- part of a three phase contactor or perhaps a drum switch
- part of the contact block for a 3 phase motor starter
- terminal block for a set of three brushes, used to transfer power to something rotating
- a contact strip from a contactor
- a brush part of a rotary electrical contact, for making a connection to something that rotates on a shaft
- reminds me of old relay contacts
- a connector for some kind of object which slides under it
